Project overview:
The Driftwood Consulting team members were subcontracted to Aurecon who was appointed as the designer for the project. The Team undertook Construction Phase Services through provision of supervision during the construction phase, release project hold points, providing advice to the Client on RFIs and NCRs and ultimately provide RPEQ sign-off that the project has been built to the Aurecon design and project specifications.
Role on project:
The Driftwood Consulting team members were subcontracted to Aurecon who was appointed as the Contract Administrator for both concurrently run projects. The CA Team managed all aspects of the projects including assessment and negotiation of time and cost claims, progress claims, management of commercial issues, quality inspections and auditing, safety and environmental auditing and had a full time Community Liaison Officer managing all comms for the project. The CA Team worked closely and collaboratively with both Contractors and the TMR team to deliver a very successful project when all other projects in the region had major issues.
